Overview: 

The Post Graduate Department of Botany was established in the year 2017 at second floor of the college in a separate wing. The department has the affiliation to university of Mysore and follows syllabus, evaluation and assessment method as prescribed by University of Mysore. Department has two well equipped laboratories and museum facilities. Classrooms are ICT enabled and apt for ICT teaching methodology. Along with department indoor facilities college also has beautiful garden harboring plants that are essential for practical understanding of the students. Faculties are qualified with KSET and Ph.D. to teach students in all aspects in the area of Botany. Field trip will be organised every year as part of teaching method and students will be exposed to various flora and habitats outside Mysore. Seminars, conferences and workshops are organised time to time by the department to enrich the knowledge of our students and give the exposure to various eminent personalities in the area of research and advancements.
