It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Mysuru, a multidisciplinary institution established in 1964 under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. Over the decades, the College has evolved as a vibrant centre for quality education, research, innovation, skill development and community engagement.
The commitment to excellence is reflected in recognition as a ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ and NAAC A+ Grade with a CGPA of 3.30. As an autonomous institution, the College continuously enrich academic programmes in tune with emerging trends, industry requirements and the aspirations of learners, with emphasis on outcome-based, experiential and technology-enabled education.
The college believes that education should prepare students for both successful careers and meaningful lives. Accordingly, the College places strong emphasis on skill development, employability, internships, career guidance, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, communication, leadership and professional competencies. Through JSS FM 91.2 Community Radio, the College also actively contributes to knowledge dissemination, community awareness and social outreach.
